Systems overview

We have an acredited 3 Shape scanning facility to  enable us to process intra-oral scans as well as do 3-D printing

Oral Art Dental Laboratory has been operating as a full-service crown and bridge laboratory on the Gold Coast since 1998. We provide quality products such as crowns and bridges, cosmetic crowns and implant related crowns and bridges to practitioners and their patients. We are the most experienced laboratory in implant related restorations on the Gold Coast, and service practitioners state wide as well as interstate.

Implantology.

Oral Art has been restoring implants now for 19 years on many different implant systems ranging from the more traditional Nobel Biocare, 3i and Astra, Straumann to recent additions such as MIS from Israel. We have extensive experience in implant restorations from single units up to full arch and "All-on-4" immediate loading at day of surgery. Members of our team have attended many courses here in Australia and overseas to keep on the forefront of implant technology. We have great success using both cast and milled frameworks on full arch restorations veneered in either porcelain or acrylic. With the use of careful abutment selection and CAD-design, we can create the desired look you and your patient are seeking to achieve. Our laboratory can assist with case planning and provides advice on the choice of abutments and attachments upon sight of the study models.

Crown and Bridge.

At Oral Art Dental we offer you anything from single crowns to full-span bridges in numerous materials. Whether you prefer the more conventional bonded crown or higher aesthetic all ceramic options in the form of E-Max or Zirconia, you can be assured of the highest standards, both with fit and aesthetics. The demand for all ceramic restorations has dramatically increased in recent years and aesthetic dentistry would be inconceivable without them. In addition, all ceramic materials are increasingly used as an alternative to metal-ceramics. Thanks to IPS E-Max, both the press and CAD-CAM technique has evolved into a state-of-the-art procedure. Pressable technology delivers the ultimate in fit, strength, and aesthetics. Pressed E-Max is indicated for single teeth, anterior- and posterior crown substructures as well as 3-unit anterior bridges in selected cases. It is also used for veneers and inlays. Zirconia materials are available in different formats such as monolithic or multilayered in strengths up to 1300mpa flexural strength.
